“The refurbishment has certainly elevated this place, presenting a truly welcoming atmosphere both inside and out, and the steak and ale pie alone is worth the visit. It's a spot that understands good, honest food - the carvery, in particular, stands out for its quality meats and thoughtful accompaniments. I found it refreshingly grounded, offering genuine value and friendly service, making it a place I'd readily return to.”
